If you’ve been on the road lately, you’ve probably noticed something: the RV community isn't just growing; it’s evolving. A few years ago, we looked at the numbers and saw a massive disconnect—over 500,000 new RVs were hitting the road every year, yet they were fighting over the same 18,000 traditional campgrounds. The math didn't add up, and the frustration was real. We knew there had to be a better way to explore.
That’s why we started CurbNTurf. Our mission has always been to revolutionize RV travel by turning underutilized private land into unique camping experiences. We wanted to bridge the gap between travelers seeking authenticity and landowners with space to share.
Today, standing here in January 2026, we are thrilled to report that the revolution is well underway. The road ahead looks clearer, wider, and more exciting than ever.

2025 was a landmark year for us. Thanks to adventurous travelers and entrepreneurial landowners like you, the CurbNTurf network has expanded significantly. In fact, we’ve seen a 74% increase in hosted sites on our platform over the last year.
But percentages are just numbers. What does that growth actually look like for you?
We aren't just adding pins to a map; we are building a trusted ecosystem where "Community First" isn't just a value—it's how we operate. We have listened to your feedback, and we are rolling out significant improvements to make your CurbNTurf experience smoother, safer, and more profitable.
Here is a deep dive into our roadmap for the coming year.
One of our most exciting updates coming in Q1 is a complete overhaul of our mapping system. We are switching from Here Maps to OpenStreetMap.
You might ask, "Why does the map provider matter?" For the modern adventurer, it matters a lot. OpenStreetMap is community-driven, much like CurbNTurf itself. It offers incredible detail for rural areas, logging roads, and the "off-the-beaten-path" spots where our best "Turf" hosts are often located.
This switch also supercharges our offline capabilities. We know that the best adventures often happen where the cell service ends—and the anxiety of a blank map screen is real. With these upcoming updates, you can download robust maps before you leave the driveway. You can trust your navigation to guide you to that secluded farm stay, even when you’re miles from the nearest cell tower.

We believe technology should be a tool that enables adventure, not a hurdle you have to jump over. We are rolling out major updates to our websites, landing pages, and onboarding processes in Q1 and Q2.
For Our Hosts: We are upgrading your toolkit. We know that hosting is a business, whether it's a side hustle or a full-time operation. Expect to see:
For Our Guests: We continue to handle the heavy lifting behind the scenes. While we focus on secure payments and also smoothing out the booking flow so you can secure your spot in seconds.
AI Experiments: We are also experimenting with Artificial Intelligence to act as a helpful co-pilot. We aren't trying to replace the human element; we're trying to enhance it. Imagine an AI tool that helps hosts write captivating descriptions of their property, or a smart assistant that helps travelers find stops that perfectly match their rig size and driving preferences. We are exploring how these tools can help us serve you better.
People often ask us, "Which state are you launching in next?" The answer is: we’re already there! CurbNTurf is active in most U.S. states, including the beautiful islands of Hawaii.
For 2026, our focus isn't on drawing new borders or "planting flags." Our strategy is in-filling. We want to add more options in the areas you already love to visit. Whether you're island hopping in Hawaii, cruising the coast, or exploring the Midwest, our goal is density. We want to ensure that wherever the road takes you, a friendly CurbNTurf host is just a short drive away.
You’ll see a lot more of us online this year. We are ramping up our marketing efforts specifically to bring more guests to the platform. We are committed to writing more articles, creating helpful guides, and sharing engaging social media content. Our goal is to educate the influx of new RVers on how to travel respectfully and authentically, ensuring our hosts get the best guests possible.
Meet the Experts: Dave & Traci Stanley
We believe in face-to-face connection. "Community First" means shaking hands and sharing stories, not just sending emails. That’s why we are hitting the road!
We plan to be in-person at several major RV conventions this year. You can look forward to meeting our Traveling Experts and Host Consultants, Dave and Traci Stanley.
Dave and Traci are veteran RVers who know exactly what it takes to be a great host and a happy traveler. They embody the "Neighbor" spirit we love—approachable, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. If you see them at a show, please stop by their booth. They are there to listen to your feedback, help you optimize your listing, or just swap stories about life on the road.

Whether you are a full-timer living on the road or a landowner thinking about hosting, here is how you can maximize the year ahead:
At CurbNTurf, we believe every driveway is a gateway to adventure. Whether you have a piece of land to share or a rig ready to roll, we invite you to be part of our growing story. We are solving real problems with creative solutions, and we're doing it together.
Here is to 2026—more open roads, more friendly faces, and more places to call home for the night.
